Service Group.

We will be starting a new "Club". Service! We will meet the first Thursday of the month and engage in different service activities that can range from babysitting for moms to go to the Temple, collecting school supplies, cleaning someones house, visiting a lonely sister, making blankets, to just about anything. Our first meeting will be Thursday August 6th at 9:00 am at Lynette's house. We will make some plans for future service projects. I know that this time does not work for everyone. If there is someone who would like to head up an evening group to accomodate other sisters, PLEASE do so! We can't have too much service going around:)
If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 376-4578 or email me at netielynn@hotmail.com.

They meet at 10:30, downstairs in front of the old Mervyn's. {Get there early to get a good seat, it fills up quickly!} Bring a colored picture for each of your kids with their name on it for the drawing.

It really is lots of fun and the kids love it. Today is the Third Tuesday {sorry about the late notice!!}

July 22nd Playgroup.

CHANGE!!!! The below activity has been canceled for this week. There were already huge amounts of kids scheduled to go to the Lied Discovery Museum...so it will be rescheduled for August. Instead this week, Playgroup will be meeting at Acacia Park on Las Palmas Entrada at 10:00 am.
Any questions contact Judy Bounds.

Note from Judy Bounds on Next Weeks Playgroup!

So next wed. we are going to the Lied discovery museum, the admission cost is $8 for adults and $7 for kids ages 1-17, but if we get a group of 12 together then we can get in for a dollar off. The cost would then be $7 for adults and $6 for kids. The only thing is that we all have to go in together, only one payment can be made to the museum so I would put it on my debit card and everyone interested would need to bring cash to pay me back. If you arrive after the group goes in then you would have to pay full price. This is not a big deal for some who are only paying for themselves and one kid, but I have to pay for myself and 4 kids so every little discount helps. If you are interested in getting the group rate please email me back as soon as possible. I have to call and reserve the date and time, and we have to listen to a brief orientation by a staff member before we can explore the museum. So let me know if you are interested. Thanks!Judy

July 22 - Lied Discovery Museum - 833 Las Vegas Boulevard North, Las Vegas, 89101. If you have not been yet this is a children's science museum, where they have lots of hands on exhibits for kids of all ages, it is pretty big and takes a couple of hours to cover, so I thought we should meet at 10am and stay till at least 12pm. The museum admission price is $8 for adults and $7 for kids age 1-17 only kids under 1 are free. My kids always have a lot of fun, though it is a little pricey. Don't feel obligated to come, if you can't make it that is totally fine. You can also bring a sack lunch, they have an eating area with a few tables and chairs, then you can stay after lunch. It is up to you.
