Back in Business.
Okay, so after some discussion from the Stake R.S. Presidency, we are still good to go with the blog. So, I apologize for the lack of posting. I know there are some who check the site often to stay updated, which I appreciate. I'd love to hear from everybody. You are welcome to post anything you want{as long as it positive of course}...good news, an announcement, a need for help, getting together for something. It's just meant to be a way to stay connected and get to know each other. So...here are a few goings-on...
This Tuesday at 6:30 at the Viking Chapel will be a R.S. game night. Bring friends and a treat to share.
Wednesday at 10:00 a group of mom's will be meeting at the McDonald's on Boulder Hwy. Great time to get together and get to know the other moms in the Ward.
Also, right now there is an online auction being held to help raise funds for the chemo treatments for Garth Abbott. Many of you may not know Garth, but a lot do. He is the Stake and has been a huge part of many our lives. To read more about Garth and the battle he is up against or to participate in the auction {there are over 100 GREAT items listed to bid on} go on over to www.thedailyabbot.blogspot.com Any and all contributions are GREATLY appreciated!
Hope everyone is have a wonderful start to a new year. Anyone want to share a Resolution they are working on or something else they are excited about this coming year?
Okay I'll start...:)
I am so excited to learn how to sew better. I've always wanted to be a seamstress, but would be easily frustrated by having to pick out what I'd sewn, or messing up the sewing machine so badly and having to have my mom fix it over and over. But, I'm resolved to learn more and get better. I started the year off by making some adorable little ties for my three boys. It was a pattern that said it was easy enough for ANYONE...and it really was-because well, I did it! Anyway, would love to hear from you guys:)
